IF YOU FIND A DOG - know the law .....
Any dog found by the general public cannot simply be assumed as an unwanted stray. Any found dog MUST be reported to the LOCAL COUNCIL and DOG WARDEN, this is highly important if the finders wishes to look after it until the owners are traced.
IMPORTANT: THE ABOVE IS LAW - if you wish to 'keep' the found dog; unless you follow the correct procedures, the dog can NEVER be legally yours.
